About José Carlos Pereira:
José Carlos Pereira, a guitarist from Porto, has trained at the Academy of Music of Vilar do Paraíso, the University of Évora, and the University of Aveiro. Throughout his career, he has performed in various countries, both as a soloist and as part of ensembles, exploring different musical genres such as classical, indie, and improvisation.
In 2023, he released his debut solo album, titled “9+6”. He also runs the YouTube channel “José Pereira – Guitar,” which aims to showcase and explore the versatility of the guitar, both as a solo instrument and in accompaniment, offering different perspectives on how the guitar can be perceived and heard.
