The Collision Talks are all about diversity and freedom of thought. Neither drama nor absolute truths: we intentionally bring together people who might differ between them, to be constructively provoked by each other or by our questions (or rather the public's). In other words, it's about reinforcing Academia's and Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem's role of nurturing our intellectual openness and cross-thinking for a more inclusive, considerate innovation development. Not to mention depolarizing views: we need meaningful collisions, more than ever.
We are pleased to invite you to our next Collision Talks:
THURSDAY 30-03 - 5.00 PM >> 7:00 PM | @ Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute - Carcavelos Campus
Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive - The end of greenwashing?
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a wide, brand-new regulation tool from the European Commission that aims to provide clarity for external stakeholders regarding ESG-related development, whether those are investors or consumers. Compliance is around to reduce the risk of greenwashing and provide comparable, trusted, and reliable information for people to take better sustainable choices -and for investors to have a clear understanding of what impact companies have on the environment and people. What are the practical consequences of this directive to companies? Will it really end greenwashing and leverage the role of innovation, for the sake of more tangible reporting results?
Come over to attend Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem's Collision Talk to understand how CSRD might build confidence in the green investment market and, what different stakeholders are doing to handle and tackle the new regulation to create greater public accountability and walk the talk on their role to play in the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient economy.
