Comedy Cachet is bringing one last show before summer break.

We gathered some of our favorite comedians from all over the world (Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America) for one last hilarious night of live Stand Up Comedy.

Whether you've been to previous shows or a first timer, we are thrilled to share this night with you.

Get ready to laugh out loud with Comedy Cachet and Friends live in Coimbra! Join us at the one and only The Murphy’s Irish Pub on Sunday, Apr 27, 2025 at 19:00 for an evening filled with non-stop laughter.

This show will be entirely in English, so, if you're an expat in Coimbra or a local that enjoys the language and wants to have a great time, join us for our last English Stand Up Comedy Show before we go on break.

ABOUT BARNEY RIVERA

Barney Rivera is a multilingual global comedy powerhouse who has performed at comedy and entertainment venues around the United States and across the world. Being based in Los Angeles, Barney has headlined in over 20 countries including Japan, Portugal, Thailand, Singapore, and counting.

Rivera has been a guest comedian on CBS’s the Late Late Show, been featured on overseas tv in Asia (China and Japan), was chosen as the best next generation comedian at the Singapore Comedy Festival, chosen to perform at 2024's Netflix is a Joke Festival, Finalist and top pick at the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival, and has even delivered his own presentation and comedy performance for Tedx Talk.

With rapid-fire crowdwork and wide range comedy stylings, Barney was brought out numerous times overseas to entertain the troops.

He is a nomad whose presence brings a unique world view with Latino flavor and a brilliant laugh payoff — a stage favorite and a must see.

Born in Brooklyn New York of afro-Guyanese decent. A RETIRED US Navy VETERAN for OVER 20years. The passion and love for the stage started at the tender age 10, by performing for my family, by making them laugh with all kinda made up stories! Then he moved to Chicago got his first break at ZANIES Chicago!! Immediately after that he enlisted in the greatest Navy on the planet ... and while not ideal conditions he hosted a created a regular comedy nights all over the world. he took his talents to Japan, China, Australia and Thailand and was A contributor to several English speaking (EXPAT)comedy scenes! (Stand up Tokyo, Shanghai Comedy Bunker and Sit down comedy club in Brisbane! His biggest achievement is the creation of FUNNY FRIDAYS for the Military and the bad Girlz of comedy!! Now with a career spanning over 20 years.

ABOUT HAGER

This Egyptian-born stand-up comedian can usually be found hunting for a decent happy hour while keeping up with the latest infectious disease updates—only in the hopes that her material goes viral. After an entirely non-lucrative career trying to save the world, she’s now opted for public self-flagellation through comedy, which is, in itself, a form of humanitarian relief.

She’s gigged, MC-ed, roast battled, and improv’d all over the world (and in her car), performing across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. She also contributed to organizing Stand-Up Tokyo, further proving her talent for bringing people together—mostly to laugh at her. Her credits include opening and closing shows for comedians who have opened for other comedians, who once opened for even more comedians. It’s a prestigious lineage.

ABOUT MIKIO

A rising star in the Lisbon comedy scene, Mikio Kobayashi has a knack for sharp, well-crafted jokes that hit you when you least expect it. Half-Japanese and half-English, he’s got the perfect mix of cultural insight and clever wordplay that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats - making him a crowd favorite wherever he goes.

Mikio was a semi-finalist in the West End New Act of the Year competition in London, 2025.

B. Amigos dos Animais de Albergaria-a-Velha

AAAAV is a non-profit organization that aims to save, help, protect and shelter animals in Albergaria-a-Velha (Aveiro District). They promote their well-being and responsible adoption.

They currently have around 250 animals in their care (dogs and cats) and need assistance with basic things such as food supplies for the animals, cleaning products for the shelter, as well as medicine, blankets, beds, toys and other things that might make the shelter life easier.
